Welcome one and all,
It’s a new semester! Fall 2012, you’re going to be a great one!
To start of this new semester, Wsem is ushering in new leadership. Just as Santa Claus must select a replacement every 200 years, so must the directors of With Someone Else’s Money. That’s right. It’s time for me to hang it up. Although I started as a gun-for-hire, Wsem has truly become my family and my home.
For the first time, this director is ready to move along and leave the future in new and capable hands. The new bossman is none other than Alex Thomas. He’s intelligent, musically gifted, and most importantly, he’s a ginger. While normally that could be a problem, it seems to work in his favor. All kidding aside, he’s a good guy with a good heart and he will undoubtedly lead the group to new heights this year. Joining him on this expedition are Egen Thorington and David Conley, as business manager and assistant director, respectively. They, too, are quite skilled. Great things are afoot.
So, as I take my leave, I’d like to leave you with this: Thank you.
Thank you to all the Wsem kids, past and present. It was a great adventure for me. I hope it was for you, too. It has truly been a privilege. May the music we have made forever bind us. Sappy moment, sorry.
